We are seeking a high-performing VP Sales to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. The VP will strategize product promotion and client acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Business Development – Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and identified new business opportunities in Southern Africa.
  • Market Entry & Expansion – Lead efforts to enter new markets /segments, analyze trends, and strengthen the company’s presence in existing markets.
  • Lead Generation- Work collaboratively with the team to identify and generate qualified leads, ensuring a robust pipeline to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Customer Relationship Management – Establish strong relationships with key customers, ensured high satisfaction levels, and resolved strategic issues.
  • Forecasting & Reporting – Provide accurate sales forecasting and compiled market insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Sales Process & Team Management – Define sales processes, lead a team, and coordinate training programs to enhance sales outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with marketing teams to establish support programs and provided insights on customer and market conditions.
  • Revenue Generation – Drive revenue growth by exceeding sales targets using client engagement strategies and data-driven techniques.
  • Travel – Conduct in-person meetings with customers and partners to build and maintain key relationships.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s in Business, Sales, Marketing or related fields.
  • Experience in the education sector is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ERP products and SaaS solutions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven 12+ years of sales leadership experience in the EdTech or technology sector, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to formulate strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client and partner meetings.
