Finance Executive

About the Role:  We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. This position plays a key role in managing financial accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing critical insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping :

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries and reconciliations.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Payroll Management:

  • Process and manage monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure accuracy in employee timekeeping, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and overtime
  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with company policies and legal requirements.

GST Compliance:

  • Manage and reconcile Goods and Services Tax (GST) payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) in compliance with local tax laws.
  • Ensure that input tax credits are accurately claimed and expenses are appropriately accounted for.
  • Assist in audits related to GST and manage GST-related queries.

TDS & TCS:

  • Ensure compliance with TDS provisions, including timely deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q etc.).
  • Prepare TDS certificates (Form 16, 16A) for employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Reconcile TDS liability and ensure timely payments to the tax authorities.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (such as CA or CMA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse financial data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in handling financial transactions and documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with teams across departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and suggest effective solutions
