About the Role:
We are seeking a Consultant – Presales to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience in presales or inside sales, specializing in lead generation and with proven expertise in conducting virtual product demonstrations. As a Consultant – Presales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, fostering customer relationships, and expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers, generating high-quality leads for the sales team.
- Understand customer needs, clarify requirements, and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives.
- Generate leads for ERP software products through cold calls, email outreach, and other mediums.
- Deliver virtual demonstrations of the ERP software to potential clients.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services when applicable.
- Follow up on potential leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage a high volume of outbound calls, adhering to company timelines and quality standards.
- Document all call information, interactions, and status in the CRM as per company protocols.
- Achieve and exceed personal/team targets related to lead generation, conversions, and outreach.
- Assist in the discovery process with prospects to identify and address critical business challenges.
- Work closely with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing presales support.
- Research customer information through search engines and other resources to enrich leads.
Digital Marketing Day-to-Day:
- Utilize digital sales channels and tools, including SEO, CRM systems, analytics, PPC, and social media platforms to drive sales performance.
- Manage social media strategy, outreach, and communication to enhance engagement and generate leads.
Education & Experience:
- Technical graduate in B.E./B.Tech (preferably in Computer Science, IT, or related fields).
- 3+ years of experience as a Presales Consultant or similar role, specifically for software products, ideally ERP full-cycle implementations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to generate qualified leads across multiple channels, such as cold calling, digital platforms, and networking.
- Proficient in using CRM tools and other sales-related software to manage leads and track performance.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to adapt to varying customer personalities and needs.
- In-depth understanding of the SaaS industry, ERP systems, and other IT products.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills to manage leads effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively and present information clearly.
- Track record of achieving targets and meeting key sales metrics.
- Experience in managing digital marketing strategies and social media campaigns to drive lead generation.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain software products in depth.
