Assistant Manager- HR

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager – HR with expertise in payroll, performance management,
and administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HR processes, supporting employee development, and aligning HR strategies with business goals to foster a positive work environment and contribute to organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers, while collaborating with departments to align talent acquisition strategies with hiring needs.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Performance Management System (PMS): Manage and drive the PMS, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and employee development initiatives.
  • Administration: Handle administrative functions such as office management, vendor coordination, and facilities maintenance.
  • HR Strategy Alignment: Partner with senior leaders to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and labor laws.
  • Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement, handle grievance resolution, and contribute to building a positive  organizational culture.
  • Grievance Handling: Address and resolve employee grievances promptly and fairly, maintaining a supportive environment for employees to voice concerns.

Education & Experience:

  • A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a HR professional or in HR Generalist role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates with prior experience in the IT industry are highly preferred.
