About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and result-driven Senior Software Engineer – PHP to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications and play a critical part in designing robust architectures that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP, WordPress, and MySQL.
- Architect and implement secure RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Develop interactive, responsive front-end components using Angular.
- Integrate and manage secure payment gateways and transactional systems.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and database efficiency.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality user interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and comprehensive testing to ensure cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance applications post-deployment.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps for smooth project execution.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP-based web development.
- Strong expertise in PHP frameworks, WordPress architecture, and MySQL.
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies, especially Angular.
- Experience in performance tuning and application optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in PHP / Web Technologies (preferred)
