About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 2+ years of experience to transform data into actionable insights. The role involves working closely with management, product, and business stakeholders to drive data-backed decision-making through advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present analytical reports for management, highlighting trends, patterns, anomalies, and predictive insights.
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical models and algorithms to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and data visualizations using Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).
- Work closely with the product and business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
- Design and implement data models, reporting frameworks, and standard dashboards, ensuring technical feasibility and data accuracy.
- Extract, acquire, and manage data from multiple sources, including Excel and MySQL databases.
- Clean, validate, and maintain datasets by applying appropriate data cleansing and transformation techniques.
- Maintain data integrity and relationships across multiple datasets.
- Develop predictive and analytical models to assess business performance and outcomes.
- Provide timely and accurate data insights to stakeholders to support decision-making, action planning, and continuous improvement.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior team members; assist in task planning and daily work coordination where required.
- Ensure on-time delivery of analytics outputs as per business requirements.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Experience working in SaaS, ERP, or EdTech domains is a strong plus.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and data querying techniques.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Python / R / SAS for data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling (preferred).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and reporting structures.
- Experience in defining KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation abilities.
- Prior experience in mentoring or leading analytics team members is an added advantage.
