About the Role
As a Manager – Product, you will play a crucial role in driving the development, execution and enhancement of Academia ERP, a leading ERP solution for the education sector. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape product strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly contribute to the growth and success of Academia by Serosoft’s EdTech solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Assist in the formulation and execution of the product vision and roadmap, aligning it with Serosoft’s business objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive trends, and product opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer Support teams to ensure product development aligns with customer expectations.
- Product Design & Development: Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure features are user-centric, intuitive, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Customer Engagement: Lead customer interviews, gather feedback, and use insights to shape product enhancements and new features.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch and iteration, ensuring timely delivery.
- Analytics & Reporting: Define key metrics for product success and continuously evaluate product performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive product documentation and training materials for internal teams and customers.
Education & Experience
- MBA, a postgraduate degree, or an equivalent qualification with a specialization in Product Management, Marketing, or Strategy, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1-2 years of relevant experience in product management or a related field are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- A keen interest in EdTech products and innovations in the education sector.

Job Details
- Type: Full-time opportunity
- Onboarding Path: First 3 months as a Management Trainee, followed by confirmation as Product Manager upon successful completion.
Career Progression & Growth Opportunities
Exceptional performance and leadership could lead to advancement to Senior Product Manager or Associate Vice President (AVP) – Product within 12-18 months, along with a substantial increase in responsibilities and competitive compensation, reflecting your contributions and growth within the organization.
